The word royal comes from the root word reg which means to move in a straight line. Vis a Vie - To Manage. Just like managing a garden, the way we handle our artistic endeavors can greatly influence the outcome and the currency of management is excitement.

These photographs I share with you today were captured during a time of recovery from a damaged leg. I had taken a break from photography and It was during this period that a collaboration with a talented stylist team presented itself. I needed to shoot something and I allowed myself to flow freely, like a gentle breeze through the poppies, capturing whatever felt right in the moment. The shoot was magical and it almost created itself. Even the wind gusts added to the look.

Excitement is Natural and Flows Freely

Sometimes the flow of creativity can be disrupted by the mismanagement of our artistic seeds. At that time, I wasn't prepared to manage retouching the photographs. I hesitated. I felt incited but it was my own inability to find a new vision for the completion of the work. I wanted to rule over the photos but I wasn't ready to rule. Regrettably, I allowed these beautiful images to collect dust, left untended and forgotten. Little did I know that fate had another obstacle in store for me.

The hard drive containing these treasured photographs crashed. Though hope remains, the potential cost for recovery hangs overhead, reminding me of the importance of managing our artistic seeds with care.

Excitement vs Incitement

There lies a delicate balance between allowing creativity to flow and the importance of actively managing it. It is crucial to distinguish between true excitement and incitement, Often we mistake Excitement with Incitement. Incitement is a motivation to urge you to move as though you were excited while true excitement is a natural inclination when you have a vision that is propelling you. Stress can replace excitement when we succumb to external pressures of incitement. Managing such situations requires seeking new visions and ideas that spark true excitement so we can reinstate our joy and reignite our enthusiasm. Your garden is meant to lay in and enjoy as a royal not be trampled over by the sale of progress. A way to walk with an Air of Royalty in your garden is to be in constant flow with new fresh exciting ideas that only you rule over.

Preserve Your Royal Garden

Each creation is a seed that requires careful cultivation. Guard your artistic sovereignty by resisting the urge to be manipulated into actions that do not align with your natural excitement. Instead, find ways to transform situations into genuine enthusiasm, propelling yourself forward. Your Intuition is your guide to see a vision. Each new vision carries with it new excitement. Whenever you feel the stress of Incitement its a clue to create a new vision. One that flows with natural excitement. The connection to this reservoir will water your garden and preserve it forever. May you nurture your creative seeds, allowing your artistic garden to flourish and ensuring a fulfilling and royal journey of self-expression.
