Expose The Multiples Of Joy

Maddison by adam arnali

Double Exposures are a metaphor for multiplying your joy. Daily life is full of division separating us from our joy. We often find our selves doing something that will hopefully lead us to what we'd rather be doing but more often than not we don't find the time to multiply our joy. We should be multiplying rather than dividing and I discovered how Double Exposures could be the answer. Sometimes our joy is hiding inside our stress. We have to expose it in order to multiply it.

Turn Everything Into your Joy

Sometimes a double exposure is an accident. The double exposure accident is combining something you wanted to do with something you didn't want to do. Using this line of thinking, imagine bringing your joy with you where ever you go. Recently, I realized I always was forced to write shot lists when i knew that story boards work better but the time it takes to draw story boards is often unrealistic and then it dawned on me. My joy is clicking the shutter. What if i just photographed the shot list and presented the images and then it dove tailed. What if i brought photography with me where ever I went turning everything into a photoshoot. Then i'm multiplying my joy and turning stress into joy in the process.
